I didn’t care for this film. It had an interesting premise, but it lacked a strong conflict and actual plot.

The film takes place in an Italian bunker built during World War II. The Allies had cleared out the German soldiers. During the present day, a bunch of people decide it’s a tasteful thing to LARP (Live Action Role Play) a scenario where Germany sends the world into a nuclear holocaust following the bombing of Japan. The survivors seek refuge in that bunker.

It’s the day before the LARP ends and there’s some weird things going on which cause the players to leave. The staff remain to clean up and search for their leader Greg, who has disappeared.

They soon find out that there is a ghost running around the place. What ensues is a lackluster haunted ghost story. I didn’t really care about any of the characters. I can’t even remember any of the names, and I just finished the movie. All the deaths occurred off screen and without much blood and gore. The ending was rushed and unfulfilling.

Overall, The Bunker Game could have been a cool story premise, ended up one of the worst horror films I’ve seen this month. I don’t recommend this film since there’s so many better films out there for you to watch.
